being an Indian i always look how many Indian brands r recognized as globally accepted brands or famous brands in top 100 but we don't even have the single in fobes list of 2009 , i think in future nano will succeed in making the global brand also it will help to esatablist as india as global manufacture of automobile . in developed nation like japan their r parameter like no. of i-pods per thousands to calibrate the wealth of the nation, days r not too far when in developing countries where no. of nano per thousand is taken as one parameter to calibrate the growth of auto sector .

the nano syndrome
ratan tata launched the nano car in January 2008 in auto-expo held in Delhi ,every car manufacture is interested in nano car just because of its prize or sth more they wanted to discover or know , one day i got the answer why they all r interested , i was travelling in city bus in Delhi bus stopped at red light a car arrived very quietly on the left hand side of the bus as i noticed the car it was royals Royce phantom and my eyes got stuck on that car the size of the car is so big that it can easily accommodate 2 maruti -800 as red light was too long so i observe that nobody is sharing the sight of that mammoth phantom rather they r looking on sth on the right of the bus with great enthusiasm and behaving as some superstar was present their but their was another car which makes the clear contrast with phantom and it was NANO one the one side nano is the peoples car where as on other side phantom which was when initially manufactured only for the royal family of Britain , nano which coast only 1 lakh rs or roughly 3000$where as phantom cost in India 3.5 crore rs or 700000us$ , so as i realize they r not looking only at nano but they r looking at their future car or people's car which they also aspire to purchase in future
